Fit the brackets

You'll need to place your brackets in the four corners of your window pane.  Push these in towards the window frame, ensuring that is slides neatly under the window seal/beading.

Ensure to push these as far as possible.  Do the same with the three other brackets in the other corners of the glass. The lipped edge should be left exposed, ready for the blind to be mounted onto them.

If  you face some difficulty, prep the bracket holes with a knife and/or use lubricant such as washing up liquid to help slide the brackets underneath.

Apply the side channels

First, ensure that the strips and brackets are in the correct position to mount the blind.  You may need to slightly adjust the brackets in/out to ensure a snug fit and to ensure the strips/side channels correctly line up with the blind headrail slots.

Second, remove the backing paper from the self-adhesive strips, then place this down, so the cut-outs go either side of the brackets, with the cut-out part closest to the window frame.

Don't be worried if you need to slide the brackets around a little, you do have some give to play with prior to sticking the strips onto the pane.

Install the blinds

Locate the slot on the back of the headrail, and place this onto the exposed brackets.  Gently push first the headrail and then the bottom rail onto the brackets.  Ensure the raised circle on the exposed bracket locates into the hole on the plastic rail slot, and bottom rail end caps.  To cord tension can then be adjusted using the small spring inside the bottom rail.

Operating the blinds

To raise and lower  your blind, simply pull up and down using the adjustable handle.

The clever fold-away handle makes these blinds ideal for use with Bi-Fold doors, where it's important that the blind doesn't protrude further than the window frame!

For Venetian Clip Fit Blinds, you'll simply need to attach the clear wand onto the tilt mechanism — Then you're all done!
