What are pleated blinds?

Pleated blinds, also known as concertina blinds, are window coverings made from a single piece of poly/poly-blend fabric and follow a concertina-shape which fold into crisp pleats to create a clean and streamlined look that effortlessly complements any decor style. Very similar in appearance to a traditional fan or accordion, pleated blind fabric is lightweight and sits in a slim profile headrail, offering the perfect option for narrow or odd-shaped window frames. Available in a wide range of colours, fabrics and installation types, pleated blinds are a versatile window covering solution for any room or living space.

Stick Fit Pleated Blinds

Combining the style and functionality of a pleated blind and the easy-to-install method of stick fit, our Stick Fit Pleated Blinds use adhesive strips to stick the side channel to your window or door pane. From there, you simply click your blind into place!

Designed to filter and diffuse sunlight, our clever system of tensioned guide wires and springs allows you to choose how much control you’d like over the light and privacy in your home. As part of our Stick Fit Pleated Blinds collection, you can opt for a singular bottom rail which you can push up to open your blinds and pull down to close them. Similar to other standard blinds, this allows you to adjust your blinds from the bottom up, whilst your blind remains in place thanks to the sturdy tension wires. Look for more control? Alternatively, our multizone light control option features a top rail and a bottom rail, allowing you to open and close your blinds from the top, as well as the bottom so you can let light in from the top, bottom, or both, whilst your blinds remain in place.

How can I keep my pleated blinds clean?

Durable and easy to maintain, our pleated blinds are built to last. Due to their unique shape, using your blinds regularly will reduce any dirt or dust build up on your blind. Therefore, maintenance is a breeze, requiring only occasional dusting or gentle vacuuming to keep them looking pristine for years to come. For general cleaning, we recommend that you use a microfibre cloth and wipe down carefully. To remove stains and dirt, use a damp cloth with warm water only! Do not use bleach or any other harsh chemicals and do not squish your blind as it will lose its shape. For a deeper clean, use a hand vacuum or a feather duster.
