The slat is the horizontal strip that your blind is made with and can be tilt open/closed or raise/lowered within the window.

The size of slat is an entirely personal preference but as a general guide you should want to try match the size of slat with the size of your window:

• 25mm slats - ideal for smaller windows.
• 35mm slats - ideal for medium windows.
• 50mm slats - the most popular choice. This contemporary finish is ideal for medium to large windows as it allows more light to be filtered through into the room when the blind is down and in the open position.

Larger slat sizes mean that your blind will be comprised of fewer slats and it may be easier to see through the window and allow more light through when the slats are tilted open (compared to that of a smaller slat size).

Please note that we only manufacture using these three slat sizes but not all Wooden blind colours may be available in every slat size.
