We offer two main kinds of blackout blinds – roller blinds and vertical blinds - all of which have a special lining designed to effectively stop the light from coming through the fabric. Roman blinds are also available with a blackout lining for a small charge, available in our roman blind section.

How to fit Blackout blinds?

All our Blackout blinds come with the necessary fixing brackets and full fitting instructions, you simply attach the brackets to the wall with your chosen method, click the blind into the brackets and attach your safety device to the wall. Make sure you take a look at out fitting video if you’re unsure.

How do Blackout blinds work?

Blackout blinds are designed to block 100% of light passing through the fabric, to ensure you block as much light out as you can we recommend using our made to measure service for a perfect fit into your window and our fitting guide will help you minimise the light seepage around the edge of the blind.

Which blind types are Blackout?

Our most popular are blackout roller blinds, although a modern twist on them are double roller and day night blinds offering two layers of fabric for interchangeable light filtering proving to be very popular. We offer Blackout vertical blinds in a wide range of colours. You can also upgrade your roman blinds to Blackout lining for a bit more privacy.
