All motorised wooden blinds come with a wireless remote to tilt the slats and set a favourite tilt position. On the right-hand side of the headrail there is a pull cord to raise/lower the blind, as you can’t do this with the remote.
No. The remote tilts the slats only. Use the pull cord to raise/lower the blind.
No. They are battery powered (no mains charging). You’ll need 8 × AA batteries to power the motor.

The battery pack is usually fitted behind the blind (vertical or horizontal). Leave a little space behind the blind for the battery pack during installation.
In most cases, replacing the batteries or re-syncing the remote resolves this. If you need help, our customer services team can guide you.
If you are fitting the blind inside your window frame then the option for you would be (Recess). If you are wanting the blind to sit outside of the window frame this would be (Exact). If you are still unsure view our measuring guide.
No, we do not provide screws/rawl plugs with motorised wooden blinds due to the variation in areas the blinds are fixed to.
Yes, although different screens and resolutions may show the colour or texture slightly differently, we suggest using our FREE SAMPLE service and ordering your favourite designs so you can compare the colours and textures at home.

Please note - Wooden blinds may be made with 2-3 extra slats on the bottom to ensure full coverage of the window.

To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children.
Cords may become wrapped around a child’s neck. Move beds, cots, and furniture away from window covering cords.
Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop.
Motorised blinds with 'Raise/Lower' or 'Tilt & Raise/Lower' operation will be supplied without any control cords. Motorised blinds with 'Tilt Only' operation are supplied with a control cord for Raise/Lower operation. As part of child safety compliance, any and all cords provided with our products will be made at a maximum length of one metre.
