How do no-drill Perfect Fit® shutters work?
The clue’s in the fit. Perfect Fit shutters clip onto suitable window and door frames, rather than being screwed into the surrounding wall or recess. That gives you a neat shutter finish without drilling fixing holes into your frames.
They’re designed for compatible uPVC windows and doors, so checking suitability comes first. Once fitted, the shutters sit close to the glass and move with the opening window or door – handy when you want to dress the glass without a separate blind hanging in front of it.
Perfect Fit® shutters for kitchens and bathrooms
Like the shutter look but need something that can handle a few splashes? Perfect Fit shutters are made from waterproof Polysilk Vinyl, making them a practical choice for humid kitchens and bathrooms.
The wipe-clean material makes everyday upkeep straightforward too. A gentle dust or wipe with a damp cloth helps keep the surfaces looking fresh, without making shutter cleaning a whole weekend activity.
In a kitchen, adjustable slats let you soften strong sunlight while you’re cooking or sitting down for breakfast. In a bathroom, angle them to let daylight through while screening the room from outside. Light and privacy control with Perfect Fit® shutters
The no-drill fitting makes things easy for you one day 1, but it’s the adjustable slats that earn their keep every day. These shutters come pre-assembled with a tilt-rod installed on the side of your choosing. Tilt them open to brighten the room, angle them to soften glare, or close them for more privacy and less incoming light.
For bedrooms, closed shutters help darken the space, although some light can still come through around the slats and edges. If you prefer a darker sleeping environment, consider an additional blackout covering.
Perfect Fit® or Twist&Fit shutters?
If you have a keen eye, you might have also spotted our Twist\&Fit range. Both offer no-drill fitting, but they suit different window setups.
Perfect Fit shutters clip directly onto compatible window and door frames and move with the opening window or door. They need suitable beading and enough clearance, so check our Perfect Fit measuring guide to see whether your frames are a match.
Twist\&Fit shutters sit within the window recess instead, using an adjustable tension system. If your frames aren’t suitable for Perfect Fit, Twist\&Fit could be an alternative, provided the recess meets its depth and surface requirements. Stone, brick and tiled recesses aren’t suitable.
