How to measure for aluminium blinds?

Measuring for your new aluminium venetian blind is simple, all you’ll need is a metal tape measure, a pen/pencil and some paper to measure the width and drop of your window space. We’ve put together a handy measuring guide to help.

If you are still unsure about your measurements, we offer “MeaSUREguard” protection to put your mind at ease. With this protection, we promise to alter or replace your blinds if you find that you have made a mistake when measuring. How to fit aluminium blinds?

Fitting your new blind is straightforward and we’ll provide you with all the guidance to make it a quick and easy process. What slat width are available for aluminium blinds?

All of our aluminium venetian blinds are available with a width of 25mm. As well as being the most popular option, 25mm slats are also optimal for light control and privacy and create a more compact stack height when the aluminium blinds are fully raised. However, we do also offer select styles in 16mm and 50mm slat widths to give you, the customer, a range of options to suit your preferences.

Do aluminium blinds block out light?

Although aluminium blinds aren’t blackout, they do offer great light control due to the opaque aluminium material used and can block out up to 95% of light. You can also tilt your blinds to achieve your desired level of light.

Are aluminium blinds waterproof?

Our metal blinds are made from 100% aluminium, meaning that they are water and rust resistant, even when used in high moisture rooms, such as the bathroom or kitchen.
