Step 1 - Installing the blind
Unpack your blind on a clean, dry surface.
Note that the Twist&Fit plunge end is positioned on the opposite side of the chain control. The Twist cog should be closer to the wall side to enable the plunge mechanism before tightening.
Guide the Twist&Fit end (Fig 1) into your window recess, pressing down on the plunge, then proceed to insert the opposite side of your blind (Fig 2).
Maintain your grip on the blind and make adjustments to achieve a level position.
Gently rotate the largest cog on the Twist end so it starts to move towards the blind fabric.
For a right-hand chain control, twist the cog backwards. For a left-land control, turn it in the opposite direction. Your blind now secured.
Enhance the stability and longevity of your blind by using a spirit level to ensure a perfect fit. This will enable a secure attachment, contributing to the overall durability and aesthetics of the blind.
NOTE: To minimise excess light bleed, we advise pushing the roller as deep into the recess as possible.
Step 3 - Installing the safety device
Place the safety device on the wall and mark the positioning of the 2 screw holes.
Drill holes using a suitable drill bit. Place device into position ensuring the chain is
fully taut.
The safety device must be installed at the maximum distance possible from
the control mechanism to prevent looped chain becoming slack.
Care Tips
Reduce dust build-up through regular usage of your roller blinds.
These drill-free blinds reduce enable you to remove for a full window cleaning. Ensure the surface is fully dry before re-installing the blind.
Check the level of your blind after each cleaning session to reduce any fraying damage.
This blind features a grip which provides able support. Ensure regular tightening in rooms with high moisture levels, such as a bathroom or kitchen.
Roller blinds can be lightly vacuumed with the soft nozzle attachment. Use lukewarm water to remove other stains.
Child Safety
Ensure that all provided safety mechanisms accompanying the blind are properly and securely installed to mitigate potential risks.
It is imperative to ensure that all cords remain inaccessible to children, those at risk and pets. Due to their cords and chains, blinds can pose a strangulation hazard.
Relocate any adjacent beds, cots, and furniture that may be scaled, ensuring they are positioned at a safe distance from windows. Under no circumstances should cords be tied together. It's vital to prevent the cords from becoming entangled or forming loops.
