Will this blind type be suitable for my room?

Blackout roller blinds are a great choice for any room in your home and especially useful in bedrooms and bathrooms where you want that added level of privacy and light block, the smooth operating sidewinder chain and the fresh, modern look of the clean lines forming this blind will provide a much-loved blind year-on-year.

Will this blind blackout my room?

While blackout roller blinds effectively dim the light in a room, it's important to note that during peak daylight hours, some light may still seep through due to small gaps at the sides of the blind. However, this light bleed is minimal, and the fabric of our blinds ensures that 100% of direct light is blocked out.

Our customers have found that pairing these blinds with a pair of curtains, from 247Curtains, hung in front of the window recess can further minimise any remaining light bleed. This combination not only enhances the blackout effect but also contributes to creating the ideal environment for a restful night's sleep.

How do I clean my roller blind?

Cleaning roller blinds is pretty simple, making sure the blind is fully down, start by giving the roller blind a quick dust over or use a vacuum with a soft attachment to remove any dust. Then with a damp clean cloth gently wipe over the blind and finally open the window to let the fresh air dry it off.

How is the bottom of the blind finished off?

We no longer offer different types of finishes for the bottom of the blind, so as standard every blind will have a straight finish with a hidden bottom bar to keep the blind weighted.

Recess or exact size for roller blinds?

You simply need to decide if the blind will sit inside the window (Recess) or outside the window frame (Exact). If you're still unsure, view our measuring guide.

Do I need screws/rawl plugs to fit my roller blind?

Yes, we provide the necessary brackets, and you will need to find suitable screws/rawl plugs for your wall, generally 15-25mm self-tapping screws and good quality rawl plugs will be what you need.

With our Twist&Fit system, no screws or rawl plugs are needed. In fact, no tools at all are required to install the blind in 30 seconds.
