While blackout roller blinds effectively dim the light in a room, it's important to note that during peak daylight hours, some light may still seep through due to small gaps at the sides of the blind. However, this light bleed is minimal, and the fabric of our blinds ensures that 100% of direct light is blocked out.

Our customers have found that pairing these blinds with a pair of curtains, from 247Curtains, hung in front of the window recess can further minimise any remaining light bleed. This combination not only enhances the blackout effect but also contributes to creating the ideal environment for a restful night's sleep.

Keeping roller blinds clean is pretty simple! Regular usage of the blind will deduce the likelihood of dust build-up throughout the year. For a more vigorous clean, use a vacuum with a soft attachment to remove any dust.

An extra step would be to then use a damp, clean cloth to gently wipe over the blind where required. Please be mindful of textured and blackout fabrics when doing this step — being careful and lightly wiping is key to keeping your blind looking its best!

We no longer offer different types of finishes for the bottom of the blind, so as standard every blind will have a straight finish with a hidden bottom bar to keep the blind weighted.

Twist&Fit roller blinds are suitable for windows with a recess depth of at least 52mm. As Twist&Fit blinds are designed to fit snug within the recess, they are not available for exact fitting. It is not possible to fit more than one Twist&Fit blind within a singular recess.
