- If you’re still unsure about your measurements, don’t worry — for complete peace of mind you can add MeaSUREguard at checkout. For just an additional 10%, we’ll replace or alter your blinds if a measuring mistake is made.
Standard Roman blind measuring tips
- If your recess depth is 60mm or less, or the window opens inwards, an exact (face) fit is usually best.
- For recesses deeper than 60mm, choosing a recess or exact fit is mostly down to personal preference.
- When measuring inside the recess, always check for obstructions such as tiles or picture rails and measure between them to achieve a neat, snug fit.
Motorised Roman blind measuring tips
- Motorised Roman blinds require additional recess depth to accommodate the headrail, motor and battery.
- For a recess fit, allow a minimum depth of 90mm.
- If recess space is limited or there are obstructions such as window handles or vents, a face fix is recommended for smooth operation.

Style to make you smile
We fell for the unique stylings of our new floral Roman blind fabric, Rosa Spellbound, because of the way it effortlessly pairs pink and blue. By using a homely cream to keep these two lively colours in check, your new fabric really does strike a thoughtful balance.
Key to making sure everything comes together how you imagine it is figuring out whether you want to match the pink or blue in the rest of the room. We love the idea of pairing the pink with accents of light green for a natural contrast that never feels like too much.
