RECESS Fitting

A recess is the inset area of the wall that the window sits within. If you want your blind to mount inside the window recess, this is the option for you. Most people choose this style.

Note: with a 'recess fit' we will make slight adjustments to your measurements in order for the blind to fit inside the recess space.

EXACT Fitting

If you want your blind to cover the whole window recess or if your windows are flush with the wall (so no recessed space), this is the option for you.

Note: with an 'exact fit' we will not make any adjustments to your measurements.

Note: "width” refers to the full blind width including the control unit and locator pin. The fabric width will be roughly 4cm narrower than the overall width of the blind.
If you are fitting this blind outside the recess, you may want to consider measuring wider to allow for some fabric overlap.

Standard - Brackets

The traditional installation type for blinds, which is suitable for installing inside or outside the recess.

Please note - You will be provided with the necessary brackets required for installation. For safety reasons, we don’t supply screws or rawl plugs with our roller blinds, as we don’t know the surface material the blind will be attached to.

No Drill - Twist&Fit

Specifically designed for recessed windows up to 220cm in width and 200cm in drop, this method eliminates the need for drilling or screws unlike traditional roller blind installations.

Adjust your twist fit blind to any position within your recess, ideal for easy access to a top-opening window. The movable twist fitting ensures a secure installation on many surfaces, including uneven walls.

This is an entirely personal preference but generally you should choose the side that is easiest to reach or will cause the least obstruction.

All our blinds are manufactured to be child safe so a control cord retaining device is sent out with the blinds to be fixed to the wall corresponding to the chosen control side.
