Static & Touring Caravan Blinds, Cushions – Refurbishments & Restorations

At 247Blinds we’re always interested in the great ideas our customers come up with, and how they use our blinds to create some amazing new spaces. So imagine our delight when we heard that as well as transforming everything from apartments to mansions, our blinds are now making quite an impact in some of the nation’s most beloved static caravans.

We got word that our friends at Eeze Covers had their eye on a few of our lines, so we stopped by to take a look at that what they were doing. If you can’t wait to see the end result, jump straight to the before and after!

When we sat down with the team and asked a few questions, it seemed like their biggest constraint is space. There’s not a whole lot you can do about this, so they make a virtue of it by looking for compact contemporary styles that make a big impact.

Before:

As you can probably tell we’re big on blinds, but there’s a little more to it than that if you want to transform an entire static in just a couple of days. They started with a brief that outlined the colours required, and the desire to modernise and bring the interiors right up to date. It’s cheaper than trading in for a new caravan, but you can only make it work with the right burst of creativity and inspiration.

It’s at this point that our blinds came in — transforming the windows by providing an elegant contemporary look that didn’t take up any additional space especially our aluminum venetian blinds and because they’re made to measure they were ready to hang straight out of the box. But for us it’s about far more than taking pleasure in supplying another happy customer. It’s about seeing firsthand what they’ve done with the rest of the space.

The couch is the real centrepiece of the living area, and you can see straight away what a difference the new covers have made. It’s the same frame (plus a little TLC), but with new fabrics and foam toppers. Ideal for creating a modernised seating area that you never want to leave. Add in a matching carpet for good measure, and you have the caravan that dreams are made of. Great work folks!
